I just took the screenshot above from our August campaign page. We’re almost half-way through the month, but we’ve raised only 23% of our goal.
Last month, donors rode in to the rescue with just 48 hours to go and pushed us over the top. Can we do it again? Will you help us to meet our financial needs for August?
Every donation counts, no matter how small. Last week alone, we had over 87,000 unique visitors. If each of them donated only 12 cents, we would have hit the goal. If each of them donated 1 dollar, we would have been funded for the rest of the year. If each of them donated 10 dollars, we’d be funded for the better part of a decade.
Unfortunately, most of the people who visit us never donate. We therefore rely on donors who regularly give $20, $50, $100, or more. But as a community, I think we can do this together. I think we can keep 1P5 crowdfunded without our larger donors having to carry the whole burden. If you enjoy the content that we offer, would you be willing to prayerfully consider a gift today? For those of you in the US (and some in Canada), donations to 1P5 are even tax-deductible (as allowed by law).
As we continue our analysis of Amoris Laetitia, as we ready ourselves for the Church’s “celebration” of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant “Reformation” this fall, as we continue to offer you more positive, uplifting, and educational content to help you grow in your daily practice and understanding of the Catholic Faith, there’s a lot of work to do, and we need your help.
