ANNOUNCEMENT: Charles Coulombe joins the Editorial Board of OnePeterFive

Dear OnePeterFive donors, readers, and supporters,

We are honored to announce another contributing editor to our online journal, the celebrated scholar, Mr. Charles Coulombe. With a great deal of knowledge and wisdom, Mr. Coulombe brings to the organization an expertise on Christendom and the spirit of the joyful warrior that we want to inculcate here in our time of crisis. He is the author of many books, most recently Blessed Charles of Austria: a Holy Emperor and His Legacy, on the great lay ruler who worked with Benedict XV for peace during World War I. He is also the author of Puritan’s Empire: A Catholic Perspective on American History, Vicars of Christ: a History of the Popes, as well as A Catholic Quest for the Holy Grail and also has his own podcast with Mr. Vincent Frankini.

I talked with him last week about his time as a young boy when Paul VI first tried to suppress the Latin Mass, as we face the same thing in our time. He shared how his father helped him through the chaos of the 1970s and how he found refuge for his faith, ending up today as one of the few cradle Catholics who are canonical members of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. This unique rite may be a place for some Trads to take refuge if their Latin Mass is shut down. See below for our conversation.
