It’s officially October, which means a yard full of leaves, pumpkin spice everything, and the Synod on Marriage and Family starts on Sunday in Rome and runs through October 19th. There are already some doctrinal clashes going in, so please add the proceedings to your prayer intentions.
In case you’re not subscribed, the latest episode of the podcast is available now. I riff with Elliot and Scott about synodal expectations and the curious parallels between revisiting communion for the divorce and remarried and the rehabilitation of liberation theology. If you haven’t checked out the podcast yet, now is a great time to start.
Finally, please don’t forget that we’re in the midst of our Fall fundraising drive. As you can see below, we’ve raised over $1000 in the first week, which is fantastic! Please make a contribution (if you can swing it) and help us meet our goal.
Have a great weekend! We’ll see you on Monday.
