Women Deacons Again

Effeminate Men Created Feminism

Here we go again. “We already know that the Pope is very much in favor of the female diaconate.” Oh really?

The drive stirred up by the fallen angels continues to attack the heart of the Church, and effeminate men stand by while our sisters in Christ are attacked by this wicked spirit.

What is this spirit? It is the spirit of Liberalism – that dark doctrine which holds all hierarchy to be an offense to man’s dignity, positing instead, that man’s dignity is based in power.

Liberalism is built on this lie: you’re only as good as what you can do.

But this lie was only an overreaction to the tyranny of the Protestant absolutism and assault on the cultus of Mary. As I discuss in my book:

Already in March of 1776 when the Continental Congress was seizing power, Mrs. Abigail Adams threatened her husband John Adams that if “particular care and attention is not paid to the ladies, we are determined to foment a rebellion, and will not hold ourselves bound by any laws in which we have no voice or representation.”[1] Women had suffered under the regime of Anti-Mary for nearly three hundred years. Feminism was and is a revolt against effeminate men and the regime of Anti-Mary.[2] It is understandable that the women would reject this. When they do, they are merely rejecting a disordered tyranny of fallen man deprived of grace (City of God vs. City of Man, 302).

The Protestant heretics had destroyed the cultus of Mary and subjugated woman (and man) to the tyranny of their irrational lust for power, while even Catholic powers succumbed to an absolutist conception of the Monarchy.

The diabolical dialectic then swung in the opposite direction in overreaction, producing something worse than Absolutism: Liberalism, which denied all hierarchy and violently tore down every institution for 100 years until the Great War ended the last of the Monarchies. In its war path Liberalism produced two ugly daughters: Communism and Feminism. Both of these ugly daughters posited human dignity based on power and used this lie to stir up enmity and violence between the classes (in the case of Communism) or the sexes (Feminism).

Thus the men who led the Liberal Revolutions in America (1776) and France (1789) and beyond, were effeminate because they refused to subordinate themselves to the logos of hierarchy itself, denying the very reality of hierarchy and asserting the lie that dignity is power. They used this, predictably, to seize power for themselves. And thus when Abigail Adams berated her husband with a threat, what could John Adams reply? She was using his own principles against him.

The Battle Between the Sexes Comes to the Liturgy

And thus this push to “ordain” women has always been based on this fundamental lie that dignity is based on power. First, women have not been given the honour that is theirs as daughters of Eve and daughters of Mary – they have been dishonoured by effeminate men. Their female dignity has been assaulted.

Then, when woman has been wounded in her heart by wicked men, the Serpent has whispered in her ear that she has no dignity because she has no power.

“Seize power,” says the Serpent, “and you will have the female dignity that is yours by right!”

But Eve was attacked because Adam was effeminate. She took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave to her husband who did eat (Gen. iii. 6). Where was Adam while the Serpent was whispering lies into her ear? Where was the King when an evil spirit was assaulting his Queen?

And so, Feminism is the fault of men first. Christian men must take up the call to be true men of God and defend the honour of our women from the Serpent’s lies. If she is given the honour that is hers, she will never believe the lies of Feminism.

(This is why I am glad for the growth of the Canadian Martyrs Mens Conference, which is sold out this weekend! We must reclaim traditional Catholic masculinity against twin demons: Feminism and Neo-Puritanism.)

Pope Francis Hears a Female “Bishop”

From Pentin’s report:

The most recent C9 meeting, part of which was dedicated to deepening a reflection “on the role of women in the Church,” drew significant controversy when it emerged that among those addressing cardinals was the Rev. Jo Bailey Wells, a female Anglican bishop who is currently deputy secretary general of the Anglican Communion.

Sister Linda said that the Pope had asked her “to organize this meeting of reflection on the world of women in the Church and it seemed interesting to me to discuss the experience of the Anglican Church in this regard.”

“What I asked the bishop was really to explain what kind of process they followed in order to arrive at the decision to ordain women, and to relate how this has changed life in their Church,” the Salesian sister continued. “So what she did was rather relate an experience, which we then discussed with the cardinals and the Pope.”

Wells, one of the first generation of women to have been ordained in the Church of England and who has campaigned for “gender equality,” said after the meeting, “Many have suggested this was an historic moment.”

There’s the lie. “Gender equality.” The lie is that unless women have equality of power then they will never have equality of dignity. This is the lie at the root of the push for ordaining women, and we know from the Anglican debacle that the “deaconess” are only the beginning.

“We already know that the Pope is very much in favor of the female diaconate, but it is still something that we are trying to understand how to put into practice,” said Sister Linda, according to Feb. 8 comments to the Spanish language daily Europa Press.

As Pentin notes, the Peronism of the Dictator Pope is thick:

Sister Linda’s comments on a women’s diaconate appear to be at odds with Pope Francis’ own public pronouncements on the subject. Last October, in an interview for a book in Spanish, Francis reaffirmed the impossibility of women becoming priests, or even modern Church deacons.

We know the game he is playing. The real question is whether he will be able to ordain “deaconesses” before he dies, as his health is rapidly deteriorating. Only God knows the answer to that question. But for us as Lent begins, we can offer our fasts with this prayer for the soul of the Holy Father:

Let us pray for our Pontiff Francis.

The Lord preserve him, and give him life, and make him happy on this Earth, and surrender him not to the will of his enemies.
