All of this is to say that it really shouldn’t be that hard for priests to ensure they are using a valid wine, but here we are.
At any rate, what is most impressive about Bishop Strickland’s public change of opinion about the Society is not merely that he recognized the obvious truth that the SSPX is not, in fact, schismatic.
This church was built not just for the town of St. Mary’s – although they heartily deserve it – but it was built for the Church, and therefore, the world – nay, the universe.
Pope Francis spoke to this bishop and said: They [the SSPX] are not schismatics.
We know – and they know – that the rulers in the “high places” are the demons who animate the goals and initiatives of the Satanic overlords who seek to destroy all that remains of Christian civilization.
If one steps back in time, a cursory glance at the life of Archbishop Lefebvre will prove informative because it shows that we have been here before.
Bishop Athanasius Schneider has said he believes that Archbishop Lefebvre will one day be declared a Doctor of the Church. I don’t think I’ll be here to see it, but I hope he’s right.
Of course, there are many Catholics of good will who do not understand the SSPX and do not comprehend the sanctity of Marcel Lefebvre, but if they truly are of goodwill, I believe they will see if they study these matters. Or at least, they will not treat their fellow Catholics as if they were…
