Benedict Carter, a native of Market Deeping (an ancient Anglo-Saxon village in Lincolnshire listed in the Domesday Book – "two villeins and one cow"), was educated at Queens' College, Cambridge University and has a B.A. (Hons) and an M.A. in History. After British Naval Military Academy, his career has been mostly spent in the offshore financial services industry in various countries, including more than a decade in Russia. He currently lives in Fatima in Portugal and attends SSPX Masses.
