On September 6, 2015, Steve Skojec was interviewed by Amanda Erickson of the Washington Post about the upcoming papal visit to the United States. Today, that interview was published as part of a larger article about the discomfort Pope Francis causes to “conservative” Catholics. (You can read more about events leading up to this interview here.)
With permission from Amanda, Steve recorded their full conversation, and we now present that audio recording in today’s podcast.

Interesting. Thanks for posting.
Correction: Podcast c.16:12-16:14 “I am a faithful son of the Church.” That’s how it is always understood and relayed when Pope Francis actually said, “The teaching of the church, for that matter, is clear and I am a son of the church, but it is not necessary to talk about these issues all the time.” [Interview with Pope Francis by Father Antonio Spadaro]
Excellent interview. The Pope is not beyond correction and to allow this one to slide unchallenged would be an enormous injustice against the mystical Body of Christ.
