The U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has granted OnePeterFive tax-exempt status on the grounds that 1P5 conducts educational and charitable activities that benefit the public by educating individuals and the general public about the Catholic faith through production and distribution of an online web magazine, podcast, and other educational materials that address current events facing the Church, issues of Catholic culture, rebuilding the Church as a patron of the arts and a driver of culture, reinvigorating the family and the traditions that keep it strong, reforming the liturgy, supporting vocations, and restoring old devotions and making them relevant again.
