If you could, please help us get the word out that we would be having a First Friday Traditional Latin Mass and Holy Hour as a Solemn Act of Reparation for the sacrilege that occurred during the Papal Visit here in the Philippines. This invite would be open to all esp those who are in the Manila. And we also want to invite everyone to be in union with us in offering this First Friday as a day of reparation for all the abuses and sacrileges that the Sacred Heart suffers esp in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

This is a great idea. If you live in that part of the world and can make it, the Mass will be this Friday, February 6th at 7:30PM local time. It will be offered at Holy Family Parish Roxas in Quezon City. The Mass is being hosted by the Ecclesia Dei Society of St. Joseph – Una Voce Philippines.
For those unable to attend, I’m certain that it will be of great benefit to unite your prayers and sacrifices in union with the Mass of reparation that day. A good concrete action for those who can’t be present would be to recite one of the many acts of reparation for offenses against the Blessed Sacrament. This one is particularly powerful:
I ADORE Thee profoundly, O my Jesus,
in Thy sacramental form;
I acknowledge Thee to be true God and true Man,
and by this act of adoration
I intend to atone for the coldness
of so many Christians who pass before Thy churches
and sometimes before the very Tabernacle
in which Thou art pleased to remain at all hours
with loving impatience to give Thyself to Thy faithful people,
and do not so much as bend the knee before Thee,
and who, by their indifference
proclaim that they grow weary of this heavenly manna,
like the people of Israel in the wilderness.
I offer Thee in reparation for this grievous negligence,
the Most Precious Blood which Thou didst shed from Thy five wounds,
and especially from Thy sacred Side,
and entering therein,
I repeat a thousand times with true recollection of spirit:O Sacrament most holy!

Thank you for this. Wonderful that there are really faithful Catholics in that poor country. Those who fill Churches every Sunday may display a ‘piety’ but it is obviously an emotional piety, not a knowledgeable one. They need our prayers too, that Our Lord will awaken in them a true belief in The Real Presence, and not just feel that o so burning ‘hunger’ for ‘eucharist.’
“emotional piety…” Yes, I am amazed that this has happened. It’s always struck me that the Filipinos appear poorly catechized. I am very glad that someone over there realized that something had to be done as recompense for what happened during that badly-run Mass.
