These days, most of us are doing a lot more shopping online. Because of this, we’ve partnered with the Amazon Smile program, which means that whenever you shop at Amazon with 1P5 selected as your supported charity, a portion of the proceeds of every eligible purchase goes to support our work.
Usually, that number is pretty small. But we just got word from Amazon that for just one day — Today, March 16 only — they’re going to donate 10 times the normal purchase percentage.
Here’s the note we received:

This offer begins at 12:00 AM Pacific Time, and expires at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Amazon Smile – is that just in the US or can you also benefit if I shop at Amazon UK?
Should be. It’s pretty simple. It appears from googling that it is on in UK.
On the 1P5 Menu Bar above, select “Store”, then pull down to “1P5 On Amazon Smile”.
That links you direct to Amazon through the “Smile Charity Portal”. It looks just like the Amazon Browser, but with the “Amazon Smile” logo appearing in the top left corner (once you are logged in); and the Charity you selected appearing below your Search Window.
Accessed this way, it is a normal Amazon shopping experience that automatically channels money to the charity you select (1P5). It is seamless and automatic.
To get logged into Smile so that all shopping channels money to 1P5, transfer to Smile through the pull down above. Then: (1): log in to Amazon, (2): select “Your AmazonSmile” from the “Your Account” pull down; (3): Set up Smile as you prefer (designate 1P5 as your charity of choice).
