  1. What you are sensing is the evil within the Church. Recall Pope Paul VI (paraphrased) “the smoke of Satan has entered the Church” in 1972. Francis is the second beast of Revelation chapter 13, the False Prophet. He is an anti-pope, not a real pope. His two horns are the mitre, and speaking like a dragon should be obvious. Although you diss private revelation (like most), God does nothing without first revealing it to His prophets. Do you think there are no more prophets? You will have to choose once the “official Church” headed by Francis approves sin, with the first step being Holy Communion for adulterers either as part of or somewhat after the 2015 Synod. Every other sin will ultimately be approved, such as sodomy and contraception and the like. Recall the APPROVED prophecy of Akita:
“As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the
Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a
punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen
before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of
humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor
faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will
envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the
Rosary and the Sign left by my Son. Each day, recite the prayers of the
Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and the priests.
The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a
way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, and bishops against
other bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed
by their Confreres. The Church and altars will be
vandalized. The Church will be full of those who accept compromises and
the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the
    service of the Lord”

      • You consider it a theory. So be it. Here are quite a number of articles and prophecies to read. It will take you a while.

On the invalid resignation of real Pope Benedict XVI: http://biblefalseprophet.com/tag/resignation/

        Very modern prophecy: http://mdmlastprophet.com/individual-messages/

        St. Francis of Assisi: http://biblefalseprophet.com/2014/08/03/the-prophecy-of-st-francis-of-assisi-2/

        Some particular messages:

So you don’t recognize the season that we live in, that is Jesus Second Coming is nigh, even at the door. Don’t you recall how the Bible talks about the great apostasy?

And watch how the Church will approve of sin, and then the great schism will occur afterwards.

        • I don’t consider it a theory. I know that it’s a theory. The definition of the word is, “a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained.”

You can certainly point to things that indicate you may be correct, but others can point to things that would express the contrary.

I’m in touch with a number of experts on Catholic prophecy who, while they would agree that there is a chastisement coming, would argue convincingly that it is not the great tribulation of the Antichrist? Are they correct? Maybe. At least they have evidence supporting their claims.

Anything is possible. I, too, believe we are in unprecedented times. I don’t claim, however, to have certitude about what comes next.

As for Maria Divine Mercy, I’m completely convinced that her messages are false, as has been verified by the condemnation of several bishops, including her ordinary. She says what many people who are worried want to hear, but the Devil is very, very good at that sort of thing. I’m not buying.

          • You “know” it’s a theory precisely because you *don’t know* that Jesus’ return is soon, well within our lifetimes. We are already in the great tribulation 7 year period. As to “experts”, the Pharisees were the experts in Jesus’ day, and they didn’t recognize the Messiah standing in front of them. So to today for the new pharisees, the “experts.”

Time will prove you wrong. In fact, if the Synod consequences and schism don’t convince you, the Great Warning – the 6th Seal in the Bible – will.

How quick you are to diss God’s Prophetic Word.

          • I’ll be worried about the Second Coming when they rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. The Greek and Latin Fathers all agreed that only the Antichrist will be successful at doing so.

          • Hi Steve how do you people in your family think of what you say in your podcasts such as your parents? I am the exact same age as you by the way and my dad and grandpa laugh at me for thinking the Traditional Latin Mass is THE authentic Catholic liturgy. They use the usual “oh I speak english” excuse.

          • It’s a complicated answer. You can’t expect everyone to see things the same way. Some people in my family agree with me, some think I’m misguided but well-intentioned, some probably just don’t care. To this day, very few of the members of my extended family regularly attend the TLM. But I’ve long since decided that I’m going to do what’s best, I’m going to try to reach the people I can, and go from there.

          • I’m the only one who does it. Not even my wife. Who insists on sticking with her orthodox background which makes it tough since we don’t attend liturgy together always. I did not even know the Latin Mass existed until 2010. Of course I’m sure you had the benefit of this through your background at the Pontifical College.

But even before I knew of the Latin Mass seeds were sown into me that things were wrong when I ended up at a Wizard of Oz Mass in Virginia Beach (see the late Father Thomas Quinlan for his record of liturgical abuse), a priest in the same diocese that preached women priesthood. And the most hideously ugly modern novus ordo church I have ever been to in St .Bede’s in Williamsburg VA. I don’t live in the Richmond diocese anymore.

          • St. Malachy indicates we have Peter the Roman coming as the last pope.

Shortly before he died, St. Francis of Assisi called together his
followers and warned them of the coming troubles, which are now upon us in this time of great tribulation. He prophesied:

            Emphasis ours.

The time is fast approaching in which there will be great trials
and afflictions; perplexities and dissensions, both spiritual and
temporal, will abound; the charity of many will grow cold, and the
malice of the wicked will increase.

The devils will have unusual power, the immaculate purity of our
Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very
few Christians who will obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman
Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity. At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected [see articles with the category Team Bergoglio], will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavour to draw many into error and death.

Then scandals will be multiplied, our Order will be divided, and
many others will be entirely destroyed, because they will consent to
            error instead of opposing it.

There will be such diversity of opinions and schisms among the people, the religious and the clergy,
that, except those days were shortened, according to the words of the
Gospel, even the elect would be led into error, were they not specially
guided, amid such great confusion, by the immense Mercy of God.

Then our Rule and manner of life will be violently opposed by
some, and terrible trials will come upon us. Those who are found
faithful will receive the crown of life; but woe to those who, trusting
solely in their Order, shall fall into tepidity, for they will not be
able to support the temptations permitted for the proving of the elect.

Those who preserve in their fervour and adhere to virtue
with love and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and, persecutions
as rebels and schismatics; for their persecutors, urged on by
the evil spirits, will say they are rendering a great service to God by
destroying such pestilent men from the face of the earth. but the Lord
will be the refuge of the afflicted, and will save all who trust in Him.
And in order to be like their Head, [Jesus Christ] these, the elect,
will act with confidence, and by their death will purchase for
themselves eternal life; choosing to obey God rather than man, they will
fear nothing, and they will prefer to perish rather than consent to
            falsehood and perfidy.

Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will
trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in
derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true pastor but a destroyer.” [That time is now with Francis]
