Bennett Bauer is seventeen years old and the author of Morning Star, a ‘Thoroughly Catholic Adventure on the High Seas.’ He and his family homestead on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, surrounded by tidal marshes, oyster reefs, and the sea. He enjoys beach combing for ship wreckage with his nine siblings on the Virginia Barrier Islands, taking care of their animals and extensive orchard, serving the Traditional Latin Mass, and writing.
